Here we highlight a Charlotte couple who called on JAG Construction needing help with their treeless backyard as shown below.  The hot NC sun and heat was too much making their yard too hard to sit out and enjoy their nicely landscaped yard.  The client did not want a fully enclosed structure like a New Porch so John Crowley at JAG Construction suggested one of their pergolas so some light would come through but not completely block the sky and sunlight.

Following you will see another angle after JAG installed a beautiful 13’ x 35’ white maintenance free aluminum pergola covering the entire paver patio and grilling area.  This is not any old aluminum pergola.  Check out the chunky fluted columns, nice column base skirts, very chunky crown molding detail on top of each column.  We created a double header with nice scrolled ends and matching rafters to give it a much nicer look than any traditional aluminum pergola that has too much of a commercial look.
